I’m Shekeena!
I am a wife, mother, and your favorite travel consultant. I am Shekeena but my brand is ShekeenaKR. I am the founder of Travel More Pay Less with ShekeenaKR. I was born in Rochester, NY and raised in Sarasota, FL.
I fell in love with traveling at a young age. From middle school throughout high school I was a member of Thaise Educational Exposure Tour, Inc where I traveled the US visiting colleges. My first international trip was to the UK.
I was in a study abroad program at FGCU. I spent a week interviewing UK citizens about the healthcare system and social service resources. This project required me to engage with complete strangers and immerse myself in their culture. I believe this is why I LOVE London.
As of today, I’ve visited 15 countries and 20 states. In January of 2019, a post I made about a trip to Iceland went viral. In that post I was being transparent about how my round trip flight to Reykjavik cost $300. I was surprised at how many people never heard of international flights being so low.
I decided to make a Facebook travel group to show people how to travel more while paying less. The group’s name in Travel More Pay Less with ShekeenaKR. Shortly after the formation of the group I started assisting people with creating memorable trips.

I decided to go Solo to Los Angeles for my 21st birthday, and it was the best birthday trip. It may seem like a worry since I was alone, but Shekeena made this trip feel like a breeze. I am so grateful for Shekeena she literally planned out my whole trip to Los Angeles and even found a way that I could squeeze in Las Vegas. Before the trip, we corresponded through email. Once you tell her the dates you plan to travel and the location, she will send over options and the best rates of hotels, activities, restaurants, etc. While on the trip, if any issue arose, Shekeena responded quickly and made sure she found the best resolution.
