October 2022, I had the pleasure of staying at a new 5-star hotel, the Tampa Edition. It was an experience that I will never forget. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re enveloped in luxury and elegance. Every detail, from the decor to the amenities, has been carefully crafted to ensure that your stay is nothing short of exceptional.
Where I Stayed: Tampa Edition
The staff were warm and welcoming, and they went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed. They even included a gift for our then 6-month old baby boy.
As I walked through the lobby, I was struck by the beauty of the white spiral staircase. Potted plants lined walkway. The plush furnishings beckoned me to sit down and relax. It was like stepping into another world, a world of opulence and sophistication.
The Room
My room was no less impressive. It was spacious and beautifully appointed, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a marble bathroom, and stunning views of the city. Every detail had been thought of, from the soft lighting to the exclusive Edition x Le Labo toiletries.
Amenities & Activities
Of course, one of the main draws of any 5-star hotel is the amenities, and this hotel did not disappoint. There was a state-of-the-art fitness center, a luxurious spa, and a rooftop pool that offered breathtaking views of the city skyline. There were also several restaurants and bars to choose from, each offering a unique culinary experience.
I had a reservation at the Punch Room. I left my husband and baby in the room and went by myself. The wonderful manager, JR, approached me to ask how my night was going. We talked for a quick minute. I shared with him that I am a travel blogger who came to check out the scene. I did not have a lot of time to spend at the Punch Room since I had a baby to put to sleep. He also had a little one at home so he knew all too well the importance of bedtime. He gave me a private tour of the Arts Club which was closed for minor repairs at the time.
The Staff
But what really set this hotel apart was the service. Every staff member (including JR) I encountered was friendly, professional, and attentive. They seemed genuinely invested in making sure that I had a memorable stay, and I felt like a valued guest from start to finish.
All in all, my stay at this new 5-star hotel was an unforgettable experience. From the stunning surroundings to the exceptional service, every aspect of my visit was top-notch. If you’re looking for a truly special getaway, I would highly recommend checking out this hotel for yourself.
